Find the right route for the actual task

A movie, a note, and a private photo need different routes.

A movie that runs into tens of gigabytes, a temporary note, and private images you do not want in cloud storage create different problems. Pick the situation that matches what is in front of you.

Every solution follows the same content boundary: text, images, and files you send are never uploaded to CipherTransLocal servers.

BEFORE YOU START

What every solution needs

  1. 01
Both devices on one reachable LAN

Windows may use Ethernet or Wi-Fi while Android uses Wi-Fi. The devices must be able to reach each other.

  2. 02
    Commercial activation on both devices

Unactivated devices can discover each other, but sending or receiving text, images, and files requires a personal license.

  3. 03
    A network you trust

Home and personal networks are better for private content. Guest Wi-Fi and AP isolation can block device discovery.

Your content stays local; activation still uses the internet

Account registration, first activation, device management, and update downloads use the internet. The text, images, and files you actually send stay on the local network and do not pass through the licensing server.
